In Jammu and Kashmir, an army convoy has been attacked once again by terrorists. Four jawans were martyred in this attack and four others were injured. Importantly, the army officials have informed that the encounter between army personnel and terrorists is still going on.
According to a report by ANI, the attack took place in Machhedi area of Kathua district. While the army convoy was passing through this area, terrorists hiding on a hill suddenly started firing on the army convoy. Hand grenades were also thrown. The Indian Army also gave a befitting reply to this attack. In this encounter, four jawans were martyred and four jawans were injured. The injured soldiers have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, there has been a huge increase in terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir for the past few days. Terrorists also attacked an army convoy in Rajouri area on Sunday. The army also gave a befitting reply to this attack. However, Dashatwahi was successful in escaping from here. One jawan was injured in this attack. Apart from this, last month also on 11th and 12th of June, terrorists attacked the army convoy in this way. Six army personnel and one local police personnel were injured in these attacks.
