Deoghar News:
From September 15, the Vande Bharat Express connecting Deoghar, Gaya, and Kashi Vishwanath will start its journey from Deoghar. MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey inspected Baidyanath Dham Railway Station on Friday and discussed preparations with the station manager and other railway officials. The MP mentioned that there will be a direct connection between the Godda parliamentary constituency and Varanasi.
This highlights that Prime Minister Modi continues to bestow gifts for the development of the Godda parliamentary region. The MP further stated that on September 15, PM Modi will virtually inaugurate the service from Jamshedpur via video conferencing. The Minister of State for Railways will be present in Deoghar.
Vande Bharat Train to Connect Religious Sites The train will connect three religious sites: Deoghar, Kashi, and Gaya. MP Dubey also mentioned that Baidyanath Dham station is set to be developed under the Amrit Bharat Station scheme, catering to the spiritual needs of millions of followers of Thakur Anukul Chandra and pilgrims. Once the metro starts in the city, the station will play a crucial role. The surrounding encroached land will be cleared for the development of Baidyanath Dham station, and a new platform (Platform 2) will be constructed with space for 24 coaches.
The railway’s General Manager will visit on Saturday to inspect the station. It was mentioned that the Jasidih station was previously known as Baidyanath Dham, and a petition has been filed in court to rename it back to Baidyanath Dham Junction. With this, the area will have three stations: Baidyanath Dham, Deoghar, and Jasidih, helping to ease railway traffic.
