State Bureau, Ranchi. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is considering the voting pattern in the assembly elections as a favorable sign for the party. A meeting of BJP’s assembly in-charge and coordinators was held at the state office on Thursday. During the discussions with Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state president Babulal Marandi, the coordinators reported that the BJP has gained an edge in most seats.
BJP leaders believe that this time, along with the OBCs, the tribal community has also voted in favor of the party. Election in-charge Shivraj Singh Chouhan mentioned that the tribal community is suffering due to Bangladeshi infiltration. He added that the way the BJP has raised this issue is influencing voters. Similarly, in the coal-rich areas, the alliance with AJSU has led to a trend of OBC votes favoring the BJP.
