Jharkhand Monsoon Update: There is good news for Indians on this day of Sri Ramanavami. More than normal rainfall is expected in some states this year. The Indian Meteorological Department has said that this time monsoon will be good in more than 20 states including Karnataka.
According to the Southwest Monsoon Comprehensive Rainfall Forecast released by the Indian Meteorological Department, it has been mentioned that the entire country is likely to receive above normal rainfall during the Southwest Monsoon season from June to September 2024 .
The Secretary of the Ministry of Earth Sciences Dr. M. Ravichandran, based on 1971-2020 data, the long-term average (LPA) rainfall for the monsoon season over the entire country is 87 cm. This year, less than normal rainfall is expected in some parts of the country, except in some parts of North-West, East and North-East India.
